The top commander stated that the supposed benefits of “Kankan”—in which most Buddhists mistakenly believe—simply do not exist. Moreover, he rejected the common notion that most of the natural disasters occurring today are due to the collapse of the natural ecosystem. Instead, he claimed that these calamities are caused solely by the actions of NLD supporters—their beating of metal balls, the scattering of rice grains on the streets, and their street parades.
He went on to assert that the myriad hardships currently afflicting the country are not the result of the people’s own weakness but stem from the NLD leader’s act of reshaping Myanmar’s map into a cake-like form and slicing it as if it were a birthday cake.
To overcome these dire conditions, he declared that national-level “Yatra” measures must be implemented. Just as in the past the entire nation once planted firewood trees and carried out Yatra clearance, now this clearing must be done on a nationwide scale. Detailed instructions regarding the dates, times, and methods for this Yatra clearance will be sent to each township as part of the strict flood relief donation collection plan.
In particular, he emphasized once more that the benefits attributed to “Kankan” are nonexistent—and that only Yatra is real. Only if Yatra proves truly effective can Myanmar, day and night, eventually surpass America.
