In times of flood or disaster, the military launches numerous projects to solicit donations—they’ve even set up multiple bank accounts. They’ve included even the bank accounts of Anti Kyu and Ko Aung Pyi Hsone. However, those who donate for flood relief have, to this day, not contributed to the military.

Local police are extorting money from the flood victims, military checkpoints are intercepting funds from charitable organizations that come to offer flood relief, and there are reports of areas affected by floods being shelled. As a result, it seems that those who should be donating are backing out.

People are now worried: Will the money I donate actually help the flood victims, or will it be diverted to enrich the families of those in power—or even used to bomb the flood victims?

The military should take action. It is recommended that donations be forcibly collected from military supporters across all regions, from members of the Stabilization Party, and even by deducting half the salaries of government officials to replenish the donation funds.

As for those on the “Red” side, they should be exempt—after all, they are the ones destined for hell, the very ones who will face severe punishment (as the saying goes, “those who will end up with three streams in a boiling oil pot”).
